Databit AS is the data controller for your personal data in TestPrep. Contact us with questions or to exercise your rights.

Data and purposes

We process email and login data, course progress, practice answers and exam results. For business purchases, we also process company and invoice details and employee email addresses. Technical data such as IP addresses and browser information is used for security and troubleshooting.

Data is used to provide agreed course access and store results (contract), customer support and security (legitimate interest), and bookkeeping (legal obligation).

Sharing and retention

Hosting, storage and email providers process data on our behalf. For purchases through Paddle, Paddle processes payments and payment details. The ordering business can see login activity and exam results for its own employees. Data may also be shared with advisers or authorities when necessary or legally required.

We retain data as long as needed for the account, service or legally required bookkeeping, then delete or anonymise it. We use access controls and encryption to protect data. Processing outside the EEA requires an approved transfer basis.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction and data portability, and object to processing. Consent can be withdrawn where applicable. We respond within one month. You may complain to Datatilsynet.

Cookies

We use necessary local storage and cookies for login, language and progress, not marketing or tracking cookies.
